sketchbooks
To me the idea of any sketchbook is to explore. To let your mind study a problem or to let it drift and see what it comes up with. Almost always the art is rough and full of expression and always unfinished. Those refinements come later.
Did I say Late nights at Denny's can really fill out your sketchbooks?
Trying to put myself in the mood to tackle a Wolverine/Spidey episode of "Avengers EMH"
One of those late night drawings I get around to after a tough day in the office. This is Agent Brand. but not in a show pose. Well okay, she is showing but not in a network way.....unless it's CW.

Another late night session with Life Model decoys. Not for television.

Not Denny's but definitely worth the wait at a local ATM...

Maria Hill LMD gets her uppance these were story board samples of how I wanted her "death dance" played out on an episode of EMH. I always try to work images out in my sketchbook when I read the scripts so I can better communicate my thoughts to the artists working the assignment.
